This project explores the design process of a hotel corridor and area rug, inspired by an original image. Key elements such as shape, texture, or pattern were extracted and developed into a unique design using digital tools. The final carpet silhouettes were created to meet competition specifications, incorporating a carefully selected color palette matching industry yarn standards. The design was then tested for scale and visual impact by integrating it into a realistic interior scene. The final presentation includes inspiration images, color swatches, process work, and the completed rug design in context.
